Webinar: Gasification for Agriculture
- Date: Wednesday, 22 June 2022
- Time: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (AEST) / 13.30 pm to 14:30 pm (NZST)

This webinar will delve into the particulars around the suitability of gasification in supporting agricultural operations to become more energy resilient.
Gasification is the controlled thermal degradation of biomass materials such as forestry and agricultural residues converting them into sustainable fossil fuel replacement products.
Gasification is part of a suite of bioenergy technologies that remain niche to much of Victoria’s industries and network of distributed energy generation assets.
The webinar will cover:
- How gasification might benefit an agricultural operation
- What agricultural residues can a gasifier handle and what are the expected outputs?
- What are the environmental and emissions benefits?
- Other benefits and overall fit into an example operation
