Gareth is a material handling engineer with more than 30 years of experience across a diverse array of industries. With a keen interest in sustainability projects, Gareth has provided technical guidance and advice on many of Worley's highest profile projects in the bioenergy and recycling space. Gareth's deep understanding of product flow, process ergonomics, and how plant economics feeds into every project, from due diligence review, business case analysis, and concept design to execution and optimisation of operating plants. His experience includes bulk handling & storage, food/chemical, and biomass handling.
Hal Davis
Anaerobic Digestion SME

Over 35 years of experience in environmental and process engineering, specialising in biological treatment processes, including alternative evaluation, concept development and design. Hal's recent experience includes FEED engineering for anaerobic digesters processing cattle manure and source segregated organics (SSO), pre-FEED engineering for a dairy manure digester, due diligence technical review of multiple digesters processing dairy manure and SSO and due diligence technical review of operating and planned dairy manure digesters at multiple sites. Hal has experience with feedstock handling, a range of digester types and associated mixing systems, in-situ HSS control and digestate processing equipment.

Dan has over 15 years of experience in the engineering and design of biological treatment systems. His expertise in wastewater treatment includes anaerobic digestion, water process modeling, water balance evaluation, renewable energy and biological treatment. Dan completed his Ph.D. at Marquette on biological community analysis in Anaerobic Digesters. Dan has performed digesters feedstock analysis for multiple industries and supported the operation of a community anaerobic digester. Dan has experience in degister design, bench-scale testing, operation and troubleshooting.
Kar Munirathinam, PhD

Kar has over 35 years of experience in process designs and coordination of detailed design of systems for treating waters and wastewaters laden with conventional pollutants and priority pollutants. Dr Munirathinam's expertise includes industrial wastewater treatment plant operations consulting, operator training ad operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals for wastewater treatment facilities. He has been involved in the start-up and commissioning of over 15 full-scale plants he designed. Kar has extensive experience with various technologies used to design full-scale industrial wastewater treatment plants, including aerobic, anaerobic, anoxic, suspended growth, biofilters and attached growth biological treatment processes.

Abel brings over 25+ years of engineering design management experience, as well as industrial operations and business development experience. He has worked in a variety of areas, including petroleum refining, natural gas processing, upstream oil and gas processes, hydrocarbon transportation by pipelines, bulk-liquid materials handling of various chemical products associated with processing facilities and storage terminals (e.g., glycols, caustic soda, chlorine, ammonia, liquid refrigerants, alcohols and fuel additives), as well as water treatment and clean technology energy projects (biogas upgrading and biofuels).
