Bioeconomy in Québec: Innovations to shift from fossil-based to biobased industries

The sustainable bioeconomy, based on the production and transformation of biological resources and wastes into value-added products such as food, animal feed, biobased products, bio-energy and other industrial goods, is an important pillar of economic development in all regions of Québec.
