This report is based on the DNV GL work that was commissioned in late 2020 and which produced a National Gas Decarbonisation Plan – identifying actions for networks and pipelines to consider to decarbonise the gas infrastructure.
The report outlines the two main pathways – hydrogen or biomethane and provides a progress update against main action areas within these pathways.
