New Zealand's second emissions reduction plan 2026–30

The NZ Government has released its Emissions Reduction Plan to meet the second emissions budget (EB2) for the period 2026–30. ERP2 has eight policies, two of which have relevance to bioenergy. The plan assumes greater production of gaseous biofuels and the sourcing of biomass for the production of biofuels.
