Submission on Discussion Document: Accelerating renewable energy and energy efficiency

In its submission, the Bioenergy Association in principle supports the main policy initiatives relating to bioenergy but there are a number of aspects where the Association would like to discuss the details further with the Ministry as some of the discussion document "Accelerating renewable energy and energy efficiency" assumptions are not correct, or appear to be wrongly interpreted from best practice. The initiatives also do not go far enough to optimise acceleration of gaining the benefits from bioenergy and biofuels.

The discussion paper continues the conversation on how we can accelerate the future development of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
